Bevan is an award-winning, employee-owned, profit-for-purpose social enterprise delivering inclusive health and wellbeing services to some of the most marginalised individuals and communities across Yorkshire.


Named after NHS founder Nye Bevan, the organisation operates across Bradford, Leeds, Wakefield, Calderdale, and North Yorkshire, providing trauma-informed care for people experiencing homelessness, refugees, asylum seekers, sex workers, and other excluded groups. Rated ‘Outstanding’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), Bevan is recognised as a national leader in inclusion health.


The Challenge

Bevan wanted to shine a light on the incredible internal career progression of their team members, from entry-level roles to senior positions, while reinforcing their reputation as a supportive, values-led employer.


Home Marketing helped to develop and deliver a social media campaign that celebrated these journeys, encouraged staff retention, and demonstrated their commitment to nurturing talent from within.


Our Approach

We collaborated with Bevan to create the #GrowOurOwnTalent campaign, a series of inspiring real-life staff stories shared across social media.


The approach included:

  • Interviewing team members to capture authentic, personal accounts of their career journeys.

  • Crafting engaging posts about professional achievements.

  • Using consistent visuals and the branded hashtag #GrowOurOwnTalent to make the campaign instantly recognisable.

  • Focusing on individual progression stories, such as Fiona’s 12-year journey from receptionist to Operations and Facilities Manager, and Kiome’s move from Healthcare Coordinator to trainee nurse associate, now completing her nursing degree.


The Result

The campaign resonated strongly with Bevan’s audience, generating high engagement on social media and positive feedback from staff, stakeholders, and partners.


By sharing these stories, Bevan was able to:

  • Celebrate their commitment to employee growth.

  • Strengthen their employer brand and attract new talent.

  • Inspire current team members by showing that development opportunities are possible and supported.
